Assembly / Packer

- Assemble products and components according to work instructions, technical drawings, or standard operating procedures.
- Carry out packing, labelling, and palletising of finished goods to meet customer specifications and company standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform quality checks at each stage of assembly and packing to ensure products meet required standards.
- Accurately pick and prepare items for dispatch, ensuring correct documentation and labelling.
- Assist in loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring goods are handled safely and stored correctly.
- Maintain stock accuracy by recording parts and materials used in the production and packing process.
- Follow all health, safety, and manual handling procedures, including safe lifting of items up to 20kg.
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and free from hazards in line with 5S/lean manufacturing principles.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and dispatch targets.
- Report any defects, shortages, or machinery issues promptly to line management.
- Flexibility to assist in other areas of production, packing, or warehouse operations when required.
- Previous experience in assembly, packing, or warehouse operations (preferred but not essential; training provided).
- Physically fit and able to safely lift, move, and handle items weighing up to 20kg.
- Ability to follow instructions, technical drawings, and standard operating procedures accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing workloads.
- Basic understanding of workplace health & safety requirements.

- Tues 7.00am - 4.00 pm
- Wed 7.00am - 3.30 pm
- Thurs 7.00am - 3.30 pm
- Fri 7.00am - 12.30 pm
- Starting at £12.21 per hour
- Temp to Perm Contract
