Registered Manager - Stockport

Location: Stockport Salary: Up to 45,000 + 5,000 Welcome Bonus + 21% Annual Performance Bonus Annual Leave: 32 days (including Bank Holidays)

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established 3-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) Children's Residential Home in Stockport, rated "Good" by Ofsted.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is dedicated to delivering outstanding care, driving service improvement, and supporting young people to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily operations of the home, ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes for the children.
  • Manage, support, and develop the staff team, promoting a culture of growth, trust, and high standards.
  • Oversee compliance with all safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively manage budgets, service development, and financial performance.
  • Develop strong relationships with external agencies and families to promote the welfare of the children.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' senior experience within a children's residential care setting.
  • Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).
  • Completed or working towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop others.
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding legislation, children's home regulations, and the Children's Act 1989.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to participate in the on-call rota.
