Role: Agency Personal Advisor working on Stockport Leaving Care Team.

Contract: 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 9-5.30pm

Hourly Rate: Ltd Umbella rate £16 - £18

Main Purpose of the Job

To work with young people aged 16 years 25 years who are or have been looked after or accommodated by the Local Authority in order to plan their transition to adulthood and assist them to live an independent life in their community.

About you

Experience of working with care leavers/ or relevant experience working with young people

Knowledge of Leaving Care legislation and guidance

Good assessment and recording skills

Understanding of a range of issues related to care leavers/young people

NVQ Level 3 in childcare or other relevant professional qualification

Ability to drive and access to a car for work
