1:1 Teaching Assistant - Brinnington, Stockport

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with complex needs? A Primary School in the Brinnington area of Stockport is seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a child who requires specialised support.

The Role:

• Working 1:1 with a child with complex needs
• Supporting their learning, development, and emotional well-being
• Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with children with SEND or complex needs
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (beneficial but not essential)
• Team Teach training (advantageous but not required)
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to managing challenging behaviour
