We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented pipefitter for an immediate start in Stockport. This is a 2 week project where you will be responsible for installing, assembling and fabricating metal structures and components.

Key responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Working on an existing plant helping with the installation of a new line.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using hand and power tools.
• Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other testing equipment.
• The scope of work includes lifting, bracketing and bolting the jacketed pipe to drawing.
• Carrying out any alterations that may need doing.
• Working in line with Health & Safety standards.
• General stainless steel pipe welding.

Person specification:

• Candidates must be available to start immediately.
• Must have proven experience as a Pipefitter.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• CSCS card or other relevant site certification may be required.
