In a shaky start to the season (a seemingly perennial issue for County), the Hatters have scored their first three points in a 1-0 home victory over Barrow AFC.
Nonetheless, many feel County still have some improvements to make, arguing that this win owes as much to Barrow's lacklustre performance as it does to a County 'masterclass'.
A tentative first half saw a slightly cautious, flat start from County, with the first big chance being a foiled one-on-one between Tanto and Barrow keeper Josh Lillis.
Next came a highly contentious yellow card, after Kyle Knoyle caught Barrow's Courtney Duffus with a high leg. Duffus was caught badly, and promptly substituted, after bleeding so heavily that blood could be seen on the pitch throughout the rest of the half.
Many County fans, even Dave Challinor himself, thought that Knoyle was lucky not to be sent off.
A few minutes later, a controversial decision deprived Louie Barry of a penalty, before the half ended.
The second half saw a much stronger performance from County, although it still feels as though the Hatters ought to have been more clinical in the danger areas, having missed a number of key chances.
Still, County delivered where it mattered, with a powerful deflected strike from Louie Barry making it 1-0.
The three points are what counts, but it seems many fans would like to see County perform more clinically in the danger areas, and to make better use of their fast, technical squad.
County's next game in the season is away at Mansfield on 26 August.
