Christopher Davies

Passed away after a short illness on 25th June 2025 aged 86 years.

Chris was a volunteer on the Executive committee at Stockport County Football Club in the 1980's and went on to serve the Club in a number of roles, including being part of the management team for the club lottery, hosting the match officials for games, assisting with Directors seating and even stepping in as stadium announcer when required. He was also Founder and Former Chairman of Cheadle Town Football Club (formerly Grasmere Rovers).

Service will be held in 1883, Room 1 at Stockport County Football Club on Thursday 14th August 2025 at 1.00pm followed by burial at Southern Cemetery at 2.45pm.
