A new car dealership in Stockport is marking a significant milestone after reaching 250 vehicle sales less than six months after opening, while continuing to invest in local jobs and establishing itself within the community.
Swansway OMODA JAECOO Stockport opened on Wellington Road South in December 2025, bringing the emerging Chinese automotive brands to Greater Manchester and creating new employment opportunities for local people.
Since opening, the dealership has grown its team across sales, aftersales and support roles, contributing to the local economy while welcoming hundreds of customers through its doors.
The milestone reflects increasing awareness of OMODA and JAECOO across the region, with local drivers continuing to explore new hybrid and electric vehicle options.
Bob Quirk, Brand Director at Swansway Motor Group, said: "Opening the dealership was about much more than introducing two new automotive brands to Stockport, it was an opportunity to invest locally, create jobs and become part of the community.
"Reaching 250 sales is an important milestone, but what's been equally encouraging is seeing the team grow and building relationships with customers across Greater Manchester."
Since opening, the dealership has welcomed drivers from across the region, with the OMODA 5 proving popular among customers, while newer additions including the JAECOO 7 SHS continue attracting interest from motorists considering hybrid options.
Bob added: "We're still early in the journey, but the response from local customers has been positive. The focus remains on continuing to support the local area, growing the team and delivering a welcoming experience for customers visiting the dealership."
