Job Overview We are seeking a Workshop Technician to join our busy workshop team. The primary responsibility is to inspect, service, and prepare our portable machining equipment for the next rental. This includes mechanical fault-finding, disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and function testing. FLT responsibilities Responsibilities checking deliveries in & out Service and maintenance of portable machine tools such as Clamshells and flange facing machines, and shipping boxes Identify and resolve mechanical faults Clean, inspect, and test machines before dispatch Accurately complete workshop service records and reports Ensure tools, equipment, and workspace are maintained to a high standard keeping workshop tidy Follow health and safety procedures at all times What We're Looking For Experience in a mechanical or workshop technician role Familiarity with portable machining equipment (preferred but not essential) Good mechanical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Willingness to learn and develop within the roleJob Type: Full-timePay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per yearBenefits: Company pensionApplication question(s): Security Clearance Requirement: Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be a British citizen and eligible for DV/SC or other security clearance.
