MOT Tester - Stockport Volvo

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 42 hrs/week, Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat (rota) 8am-12pm

Salary: Up to £30k basic + £6,600 bonus potential + uncapped bonus

Bonus: Extra £2k with EV Qualification

We're growing at Lookers Stockport Volvo and looking for a qualified MOT Tester to join our skilled workshop team. You'll carry out MOTs, services, health checks, and authorised repairs using the latest tools and technology.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified MOT Tester
• Experience as a mechanic
• Motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn
• Background in dealerships or independent garages welcome

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct MOTs in line with DVSA guidelines
• Perform servicing and vehicle health checks
• Carry out customer-approved repairs
• Road test vehicles post-repair
• Maintain high standards of documentation
