The Indirect Category Buyer will sit the in purchasing team, with excellent opportunity for career development.

Candidates who have previous experience purchasing indirect such as services, maintenance and HR within a manufacturing organisation will be suited for this position.

Role responsibility of the Indirect Category Buyer role:

• Preparing executing and evaluating tenders
• Negotiating contracts, driving and implementing contracts locally
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies for local categories
• Managing suppliers' relationships and conducting performance reviews
• Controlling the spending and fostering the use of standard tools and processes in the region and act as a key point of contact for the sits procurements needs
• Ensuring that the purchasing needs of technical goods and services are met
• Developing and maintaining close and productive relationships with key stakeholders

Person specification of the Indirect Category Buyer role:

• A professional qualification in purchasing, such as CIPs or at least 5 years strategic buyer experience
• Experience in purchasing indirect' s ideally services, site services, maintenance and HR
• Experience using SAP
• Strong commercial/ contract negotiation skills
• The ability to build relationships, influence and gain corporation across all regions
• A valid UK driving licence
