At least 5 years' software engineering experience.

Significant experience safety critical or safety related systems (IEC 61508 ideal/IEC 62304 or IEC 26262 possible)

Significant knowledge of high integrity coding practices and tooling (Unit test, Static Analysis etc) and software life cycles

Strong technical documentation skills

Previous Defence Experience

Practical experience of working with Requirements Management tools such as DOORS or Polarion

UML and modelling methods

Knowledge of Embedded systems

Previous Defence Industry Experience

Experience of Atlassian Tools

Experience with virtualisation environments and containerisation.

Good appreciation of IP Networking protocols.

Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tooling such as Jenkins and JFROG Artifactory

Our client, a well-respected civil and structural engineering practice, is seeking a skilled engineer to join their team and play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions across a diverse project portfolio. You'll be working on a wide range of developments across sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, leisure, education, and environmental. Projects span from major new builds to technically complex refurbishments, offering a varied and rewarding workload. The Role: As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of infrastructure schemes, with a particular focus on development-led work. You'll be responsible for producing detailed designs and technical documentation in line with current standards and regulatory requirements.
