Manchester/Stockport

£35,000 - £38,000 DOE.

Door to door travel, call out rota, standby allowance, company van (personal use), fuel card, 24 days holidays plus bank holidays and your birthday off, overtime, training and progression.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Access Control, Intruder, IP CCTV and Networking engineer. As a field-based professional, you will be responsible for service and small works of Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Analogue and IP CCTV cameras.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct servicing and small works of Intruder Alarms, Access Control systems and Analogue and IP CCTV cameras.
  • Experience with Networking and be able to set up network on laptops.
  • Working on systems such as Dallmeier, Synectics, Intratec, Avigilon, Milestone, Axis and 360 Vision.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • Possess a full UK Driving licence.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in with IP CCTV and Networking.
  • Experience setting up network on a laptop.
  • Experience working on managed switches.
  • Experience setting up VPNs
  • Knowledge of port forwarding.
  • Experience with wireless systems such as Siklu is a bonus but not essential.
  • IPAF.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving licence.

Projects span from major new builds to technically complex refurbishments, offering a varied and rewarding workload. The Role: As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of infrastructure schemes, with a particular focus on development-led work. You'll be responsible for producing detailed designs and technical documentation in line with current standards and regulatory requirements.
