We re hiring for an experienced Quality Engineer to join an engineering company based in Stockport who boast an attractive reputation and extremely exciting future.

• £40,000 - £45,000 per year

What will you be doing as a Quality Engineer?

• Inspecting machine parts and assemblies to meet drawings and customer specifications
• Supporting the Quality Manager in maintaining the QMS
• Servicing and calibrating inspection equipment (including laser trackers and CMMs)
• Providing operator training to recognised standards
• Working collaboratively with production, estimating, and sales teams
• Advising on capital investments to implement the latest technologies
• Actioning NCRs using 8D problem-solving methods

What do you need?

• A trained internal auditing certification or relevant experience
• Previous time served as a machinist or toolmaker (desirable)
• Leica or Faro experience (desirable)
• Lean and six sigma experience (desirable)
• Previous experience working within a precision engineering environment (desirable)
