We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing client based over in Stockport, working in a state of the CNC machine shop. Working Favourable Day shifts, this roles offers the chance to be involved in some of the most exciting manufacturing projects being undertaken in the UK at the moment. This role focuses on improving equipment availability and supporting adherence to maintenance schedules, ensuring production efficiency through a blend of reactive and preventative maintenance activities for CNC and PLC-based machinery.

Who This Job Would Suit: This role is ideal for a qualified technician or engineer with an electrical bias and a passion for troubleshooting. A perfect fit for someone experienced in CNC maintenance with strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled, reactive, and preventative maintenance on CNC, PLC, and other machinery.
  • Diagnose faults and ensure prompt repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Record detailed reports on maintenance activities, including parts used and improvements needed.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to enhance equipment reliability and minimize production disruptions.
  • Maintain high safety and environmental standards across all maintenance activities.
