We are looking for a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join a long-established consultancy business based in Greater Manchester. They have been successfully operating for over 30 years and are now looking to expand the team and appoint a talented Electronics Engineer. Graduates will start on a salary of up to 35,000 with full training and mentoring. Graduates with some prior work experience in electronics could achieve a salary of up to 42,0000 reflecting your additional skills and immediate value to the team.

Key Responsibilities for this Electronics Engineer role:

  • Designing and developing electronic systems from concept to delivery.
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis on existing designs.
  • Creating schematics and layouts using CAD tools.
  • Working with microprocessors, digital ICs, and FPGA technology.
  • Developing firmware for embedded systems (C++, Python etc.).
  • Performing signal processing and debugging to optimise performance.
  • Collaborating with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Hands-on SMT soldering and prototype assembly.
  • Participating in design reviews and suggesting improvements.

Qualifications and experience needed for this Electronics Engineering role:

  • Degree in Electronics or a closely related subject (essential).
  • Solid foundation in electronic engineering principles.
  • Enthusiasm to learn - experience is welcome but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
