Decoiler Operator Permanent Position We are seeking an experienced Decoiler Operator to join our production team. Previous experience with large-scale slitting machines is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Decoiling machine efficiently and safely, overseeing production processes.
- Lead and support a small team of operators as required.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specification standards.
- Meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Train and mentor new team members.
- Maintain Health & Safety standards at all times.
- Proven experience in Decoiling operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Rotating shifts: 6:00am 2:00pm and 2:00pm 10:00pm.
- Shift times may vary depending on production demands.
- During busy periods, extended shifts (e.g., 6:00am 6:00pm or 6:00pm 6:00am) may be required.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements.
- Conscientious and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Safety-conscious and proactive in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Knowledge and experience with 5S workplace organisation.
- Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) and/or Overhead Crane (OHC) certification.
