Contract CNC Turner - Defence Engineering

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's largest Defence Engineering organisations for an experienced CNC Turner to join their manufacturing team.

• Set and operate CNC turning machines

• Machine precision components to engineering drawings and specifications

• Carry out tooling changes and machine set-ups

• Work accurately to tight tolerances

• Inspect completed components using micrometres, verniers and other precision measuring equipment

• Ensure components meet required quality and dimensional standards

• Experienced CNC Turner / CNC Lathe Setter Operator

• Strong CNC turning and machining background

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Confident setting and operating CNC machinery

• Competent using precision measuring equipment

• Defence, aerospace or precision engineering experience advantageous

Comprehensive training provided.

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30Friday: 07:00 - 12:0037 hours per week

Umbrella: 26.07 per hour37 hours = 964.59 per week

Additional hours available at overtime rates.
