Tradewind is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Cheadle. This full-time, long-term role starts in September and involves providing one-on-one support to a child with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements.

• Personalised Support: Provide 1:1 assistance to a child with SEMH needs, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop essential skills.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement learning strategies and behavioral interventions.
• Environment: Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports the child's development.
• Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report the child's progress to the teacher and parents.
• Adaptability: Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the child's unique needs.

• Experience: Previous experience with SEMH children is highly desirable.
