Sports Coaches in Secondary Schools (PE) - Stockport

Cover People are actively looking for Sports Coaches with UK based experience working with children, preferably aged 11-16 years old. The ideal candidate would have a relevant degree (BSc or MSc) OR coaching badges with recent experience.

The role is teaching KS3 PE on a short term basis in a Good rated secondary school in the heart of Stockport to cover a broad range of sports including football, rugby, softball, athletics and basketball. The school is often complimented for being a community-led school, offering support to families to give disadvantaged children a fair chance to achieve.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate a degree related to sports/PE or coaching equivalent
  • Recent experience teaching or sports coaching experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion to impact students to create a productive environment for students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. The above vacancy is a temporary position. Occasionally, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. We offer flexibility with this, as we understand some candidates may not wish to commit to a permanent contract.

Aspire People are in partnership with a Primary School in the Stockport area, currently seeking an Teaching Assistant for a long-term role. The ideal candidate will possess a Level 2+ Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent and have at least two years of experience in an Early Years setting.In this role, you may be responsible for leading groups of children in the absence of their teacher, facilitating reading and writing sessions, and demonstrating effective behavioural management skills. This position is full-time, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The role is ongoing, lasting until the end of the academic year and possibly beyond.
