Autism Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for Autism Teaching Assistant to join Primary School in Stockport who specialise in supporting children with SLD, PMLD and additional Complex Needs including Severe Autism. The Position is full-time, long-term and will be an immediate start.

The successful applicants will have:

Experience working with people with learning disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Discorder and/or Physical, Mental, Sensory ImpairmentsStrong behaviour management skillsAbility to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents/carersExcellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skillsHold an enhanced CHILD AND ADULT barred list DBS cetificateThe role will consist of:
