About the Role:We are seeking dedicated and flexible Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a variety of needs, including but not limited to:
Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
Physical Disabilities
Complex medical needs
Speech and language communication difficulties
You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:Proven experience supporting children or young people with SEND, ideally in a school or specialist setting
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Team Teach or equivalent behaviour management training
Manual Handling / Moving and Handling certification
Experience with personal care or intimate care
Knowledge or experience of PECS, Makaton, or other communication systems
Experience supporting children with feeding tubes, tracheostomy care, or other complex medical needs
