SEN Cover Supervisor (Full-time or Part-time) Location: Stockport Pay: £110.00 - £130.00 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications) Start Date: ASAP

The School Role A specialist school in Stockport are looking for an SEN Cover Supervisor who can make a real impact to children with barriers to learning! We're looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to help create inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environments where every student can thrive.

As an SEN Cover Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

Delivering pre-prepared lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Using effective behaviour management strategies to maintain structure and support student success. Providing individual and small-group support for those with autism, ADHD, and other learning needs. Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to adapt lessons and resources for accessibility. Building strong relationships to boost confidence and participation, while tracking progress and providing constructive feedback to support development.

Requirements The desired SEN Cover Supervisor will demonstrate:

  • Specialist Knowledge: A strong understanding of autism, ADHD, and effective strategies to support diverse learning needs.
  • Classroom Management: The ability to adapt to various learning environments and maintain an inclusive, structured setting.
  • Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Passion and Commitment: A genuine dedication to supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful impact on their development
