Nursery Teaching Assistant - Full Time - Hyde (Tameside)

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to support a lovely Primary School in the Hyde area. This is a full-time, long-term role, perfect for someone passionate about early years education.

Role Overview:

• Position: Nursery Teaching Assistant

• Location: Hyde, Tameside

• Hours: Full-time, term-time

• Start Date: ASAP (or January start if preferred)

• Contract: Long-term, with potential to continue

• Setting: Nursery / Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

The School Are Looking For:

• Experience working in Nursery or EYFS settings

• A nurturing, patient and proactive practitioner

• Someone who can support early learning, play-based activities and children's development

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting children's learning through play and structured activities

• Helping to create a warm, safe and stimulating environment

• Assisting the class teacher with routines, observations and learning plans

• Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents
