Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? Do you have experience working with secondary-aged pupils, including those with special educational needs? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day academic and emotional support of students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide both one-to-one and small group support, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

• Supporting students with a range of additional needs, including those with EHCPs

• Assisting teaching staff with classroom preparation and lesson delivery

• Encouraging student engagement and motivation within the classroom

• Monitoring progress and providing regular feedback to teachers and SENCOs

• Promoting positive behaviour and fostering emotional wellbeing

• Previous experience working as an LSA or in a similar support role within a secondary school setting

• A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A genuine passion for education and pupil development

• A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
