Responsibilities:MUST BE LOCAL TO STOCKPORT- Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials such as tiles, slate- Inspect roofs for damage and identify necessary repairs or replacements- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions- Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them- Ensure roofs are properly waterproofed and sealed to prevent leaks- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while working at heightsExperience:- experience in slate and tile essential-flat roofing- Proficient in using roofing tools and equipment- Knowledgeable about different roofing materials and their application techniques- Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to roofing- Ability to work independently or as part of a teamSkills:- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve roofing issues- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate with clientsNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
