Linsco are seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a team based in Stockport, supporting a range of Construction, Fit out and refurbishment projects. Working closely with senior commercial staff, you will gain hands-on experience in cost management, contract administration, and procurement, contributing to the successful delivery of high-profile water and utility schemes.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, valuations, and cost forecastsSupport in the measurement and valuation of works, both on-site and from drawingsContribute to subcontractor procurement, tendering, and contract negotiationsMonitor project variations and assist with the preparation of change control documentationHelp ensure financial compliance with client frameworks and NEC contractsAssist in the preparation of monthly cost/value reports and cashflow forecastsWork collaboratively with engineers, site teams, and external stakeholdersSupport senior QS staff in dispute resolution and final account agreementsUnderstanding of cost control systems and processesIf interested or want to know more please contact Matt Wheat
