A leading fitout and refurb contractor is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team. Based in Stockport, they specialise in delivering projects in range of sectors including industrial, retail, office and leisure.
Responsibilities
- Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications to create precise and competitive cost estimates
- Conduct comprehensive site visits and surveys to thoroughly understand the project scope and existing conditions
- Prepare detailed bills of quantities and undertake material and labour take offs
- Collaborate with the commercial and project delivery teams to hand over successful tenders
- Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings, site briefings and client presentations when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Estimating role within the fit-out or refurb construction industry
- To be able to work both independently and part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
