FP&A Implementation Lead Location: Stockport (Hybrid Working) Duration: 11 Month contract Rate of Pay: £350 to £400 per day (inside IR35)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (flexible hybrid, 2 or 3 days office based each week)

We re looking for an experienced and driven FP&A Implementation Lead to deliver the rollout of a new FP&A system across our UK-wide operations. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact at the heart of a complex, nationwide business.
About the Role
Based at our Shared Service Centre in Stockport, this hybrid role will see you take ownership of the financial workstreams in a high-profile systems implementation. With the project already underway, we're seeking someone who can hit the ground running bringing structure, focus and insight to ensure a successful transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial elements of the FP&A system rollout across the UK business
- Engage with internal finance teams to gather, validate and document requirements
- Support the configuration of the new system and oversee user acceptance testing
- Define and manage statements of work, timelines and deliverables
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure cohesive and aligned delivery
- Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders, highlighting risks and progress
- Drive adoption of the new platform by supporting training and embedding new processes
What We re Looking For
- Ideally PQ or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong FP&A experience
- Proven experience leading or playing a key role in finance systems implementations
- Deep understanding of financial planning cycles and accounting frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong Excel capabilities; experience with Oracle or Vena is advantageous
- Detail-oriented, highly organised and able to work well under pressure
- A proactive, hands-on attitude you re ready to make things happen
